Mark Smith, Fixed Wire Testing Manager

Mark Smith is the business owner and is also the Fixed Wire Testing Manager. Mark has been involved within the industry for 27 years and founded MS Electrical Services 12 years ago to deliver PAT testing and fixed wire testing in Cambridge and surrounding areas. He brings a wealth of experience both on and off site, as well as thorough and efficient project management. With the experience of running fixed wire testing projects such as Babraham Research Campus, Savills, Cambridge University and within the NHS, Mark ensures the MS Electrical team works around our clients requirements to minimise disturbance to their day-to-day activities.

Justin Carpenter, PAT Testing Manager

We were incredibly pleased when Justin joined the MS Electrical Services team back in 2011. He is our PAT test manager and has been in charge of running the PAT testing jobs on site. To date, he has managed projects for clients including Hinchingbrooke Hospital, St Marys School and Cambridge University, as well as many more. Justin brings a wealth of knowledge within the PAT testing industry and works together with our clients to minimise the disruption on site. His skill at managing not just the large sites but smaller sites too means that we can plan works in to provide structure to each client's needs. As Justin works with the same clients every year, he quickly builds excellent relationships which enables us to understand how different businesses work. This in turn helps to provide a smooth PAT testing service where we can put our clients’ needs first. He is good with people, flexible in his approach to working around clients and knowledgeable about all the technical aspects of PAT testing. All in all, he's a really good egg, and a genuine asset to our business.

Catherine Smith, Office Manager

Catherine is our office manager and has been a huge asset to us since joining the team six years ago. Catherine boasts a wealth of knowledge in office administration and management. By managing our reporting software, notifying our clients of test due dates, undertaking the invoicing and generally keeping the business administration in order Catherine helps us deliver the most professional and efficient service we can for our clients.
