We were called out to a client today as their sockets had tripped off. After some investigation the cause was found to be an errant slug, which had somehow got into the socket and left its trail of slime all over the cables before then electrocuting itself!
It’s fair to say that it wasn’t something we see every day! However, our investigation also showed up that the socket had been wired incorrectly, and there were obvious damp issues to address, so in a way the slug had actually been rather helpful!
